The place we gather for worship is important. We want to make our worship space beautiful out of thanks to God who provides all the beauty around us.

Baker Galloway of FGM Architects designed the new Temple for Sts. Constantine and Helen Orthodox Church in Carrollton, Texas.

 

Based in Austin, he is a tonsured reader at St. John the Forerunner Orthodox Church in Cedar Park, where he has attended since 1999. He has worked in church design for over 20 years, and is also a trained iconographer. In 2019 Baker completed the 3-year Icon Painting Programme at the Prince's Foundation School of Traditional Arts in the U.K., studying under Aidan Hart. He also previously studied iconography with Subdeacon Vladimir Grygorenko in Dallas.
